On Friday 18th February, Raychem is launching its new Engineering Toolbox and the Raychem Academy (e-resource and training centre) at the Icebar, London.

If you have ever seen the Swedish Ice Hotel on television and wondered what it must be like, then Raychem offers you the opportunity to experience exactly that, without leaving London’s west end. Following an introduction to the new engineering tools for system selection, design and specification, guests will enjoy a visit to the Ice Bar itself.

Maintained at a chilly -5°C, the entire Icebar is constructed from crystal clear ice harvested from the frozen Torne River in Northern Sweden. Even the drinks are served in ice glasses!

For your convenience, there are two available sessions; 2:30pm until 5:00pm with the second from 5:00pm until 7:30pm
