Powrmatic has recently launched an improved range of high efficiency gas fired suspended unit heaters. The NVx range has been introduced with enhanced features to facilitate ease of installation for contractors.

National Product Manager, Brett Smith states: “We have always prided ourselves on working in partnership with the contractors in our industry. Listening to their practical feedback has enabled us to engineer in features that will lower installation times and costs. Many of these improvements also improve unit servicing.”

Some of the features include additional suspension points which are used temporarily during installation; access door hinged on opposite side, now opens to the rear of unit; gas inlet pipe now factory fitted as standard; improved controls layout within the electrical panel section.

End users also benefit from other improvements to the unit, including a new design casing with reduced height; reduction in noise levels; improved throw; introduction of ‘unit running’ indicator light.

Smith continues: “As a committed UK manufacturer, we feel strongly about leading the market with economical and energy efficient heating equipment. The improvements we have made to the NVx range continue to prove our commitment to the trade and their end user clients.”

The NVx range will be launched at the beginning of February 2011. The phased introduction will commence with units rated at 75kW, 60kW and 30kW respectively. Other sizes in the range will be introduced later in the month.
