ENER-G (www.energ.co.uk) will showcase its sustainable solutions at
Ecobuild – demonstrating how it can apply advanced technology and
services to cost and greenhouse gas reduction.
The company finances and delivers renewable and energy efficient
power generation and management schemes –offering a comprehensive
end-to-end service – from energy procurement and efficiency
expertise through to renewable and low carbon technologies and
services.
ENER-G’S technologies include: combined heat and power (CHP), biogas
utilisation, geothermal energy, heat pumps, efficient lighting,
controls, metering and data solutions, and new generation energy
from waste. This is accompanied by a wide range of energy and water
consultancy and energy procurement services.
Core to the business are the company's market leading combined heat
and power, and biogas generation systems that are designed and
manufactured at ENER-G's UK production centre and exported across
the globe.
The company helped pioneer CHP technology 25 years ago and today is
European leader in the supply of CHP systems from 4kW to 10MW. ENER-G
has more installed CHP systems across the UK and Europe than any
other supplier, including installations in Buckingham Palace,
hospitals, hotels, leisure centres, government offices,
supermarkets, factories and other buildings worldwide.
ENER-G delivers whole life cycle projects from initial design to
long term care of the installation. The group’s solid financial
status and independence provides the freedom to offer innovative
capital-free finance options. ENER-G pioneered the Discount Energy
Purchase scheme, which means it installs, operates and finances the
cogeneration installation without capital outlay and sells the
energy at a discounted rate.
ENER-G’s partnership with communities and businesses yields
collective carbon savings of more than five million tonnes each
year, equivalent to the environmental benefit of 500 million trees.
Turnover last financial year was £130m, 47% of which was generated
by export sales. ENER-G has operating companies, joint ventures and
partnerships in 18 countries, including the UK, Hungary, the
Netherlands, Romania, Lithuania, Italy, Norway, Poland, South
Africa, Mexico and Spain, with partners in Canada and across Western
and Eastern Europe.
