HONEYWELL - Heating Controls Are The Key To Huge Energy Savings,
Explains Honeywell At Ecobuild
It’s simple and cost effective to achieve huge home energy savings
while making a home cosier – that’s the message from Honeywell (Ecobuild
stand N1661), world-leading expert in heating controls.
As 84% of domestic energy is used for heating and hot water,
Honeywell says just installing a new energy efficient thermostat and
timer is a very easy way to save energy and cut fuel bills – and
much more cost effective than replacing a boiler.
Honeywell experts will be on hand to provide energy saving advice
and demonstrations of its range of energy saving thermostats and
timers. These include Sundial RF² wireless control packs which are
clean, quick and simple to fit, yet reduce energy wastage. They
feature TPI (Time Proportional and Integral) advanced energy saving
control, which provides more accurate temperature control than
traditional controls and matches boiler firing to the demands for
heat from the heating system, so the boiler can operate much more
efficiently.
With wireless controls such as Sundial RF² there is no need to hard
wire the cylinder or room thermostat. Eliminating these control
cables saves time, expense, disruption and damage to décor. In
upgrades using Sundial RF², the new energy saving timer simply
replaces the existing timer and the wireless thermostat works
automatically, with no need to change the wiring to the rest of the
system. In many cases the timer slots in place of the old unit and
on the existing backplate.
Ecobuild is open from Tuesday 1st to Thursday 3rd March 2011 at
ExCel, London.
