Ideal Standard, a leading provider of innovative and design-driven
bathroom solutions, will return to Ecobuild, the world’s biggest
event dedicated to sustainable design, construction and the built
environment, on Tuesday 1st March. Ideal Standard will present its
top 100 water saving products, which highlight the company’s
commitment to water efficiency. With a stand measuring 96 square
metres, Ideal Standard’s presence will be three times that of the
one at Ecobuild 2010.
Two Ideal Standard display areas will feature at the Ecobuild show,
including a domestic and commercial area on stand on S320. The
domestic area will feature Ideal Standard’s key water saving
products such as the Concept suite, with the water saving bath and
the Synergy shower enclosure.
The commercial area will present Armitage Shanks’ water saving
products, including the Leadenhall basin, the Contour 21 wall hung
WC and a waterless urinal.
Tony Rheinberg, Marketing Manager at Ideal Standard, comments:
“There is a lot of water wasted in the bathroom. In the UK, we
estimate there are still around 11 million WCs that flush on more
than six litres of water - some use as much as 11 litres. This needs
to change. We’re taking action by manufacturing more products than
anyone else in the market that are designed to save water. Our new
toilets can now flush with as little as 4 litres for a long flush or
2.6 litres for a short one”.
Last year, Ideal Standard pledged to add 100 more products to the
Bathroom Manufacturers Association’s (BMA) water efficient labelling
scheme. This year Ideal Standard returns with the launch of a new
brochure featuring its top 100 water saving products.
Ideal Standard has the largest range of water saving products in the
industry with over 270 products on the Bathroom Manufacturer
Association’s (BMA) water efficient labelling scheme, designed to
help consumers identify water efficient products. The scheme gives
consumers a variety of choice and price ranges.
