The latest addition to Schueco's window range in the UK is the AWS 55 CL, an aluminium casement window system designed to meet the environmental and cost demands of modern sustainable buildings. Equally suitable for light commercial, education, healthcare and residential applications, it delivers unbeatable Schueco quality economically, making it the ideal solution for projects where budgets are under pressure.

Developed to meet the requirements of Document L 2010 for new-build and replacement use, the Schueco AWS 55 CL window achieves optimum thermal insulation thanks to polyamide isolator technology and a unique convection barrier. And with a Green Guide commercial window generic rating of “A“ (Element No 831500023) it is ideal for use on BREEAM projects.

Security, too, has been carefully considered: fitted with twin-cam espagnolette locking the Schueco AWS 55 CL window has been tested to BS 7950 and is an addition to Schueco’s already comprehensive range of SbD windows and doors.

Slim sight-lines allow the maximum amount of daylight into a building, while a comprehensive range of thermally insulated profiles, including structural mullions, gives architects great design freedom. The use of Schueco’s class leading crimped cleat and adhesive bonding corner-joint technology imparts impressive strength to the window.

Options include cockspur handles, folding openers, a 100 mm safety limit stay, egress/easy-clean friction hinges and single or dual colour frames. Schueco AWS 55 CL windows are suitable for installation into standard openings or they may be integrated into Schueco façades.
