Dimplex now offers not only the complete renewable space heating
system, but the launch of the new EC-Eau range of unvented water
cylinders for heat pumps and solar thermal delivers a complete
renewable water heating solution as well.
Manufactured from 60 percent recycled materials, the range has been
designed with environmental sensitivity and efficient performance in
mind, to deliver mains pressure hot water from renewable sources. To
optimise the efficiency of the renewable system they complement, the
cylinders feature heat exchangers with a corrugated surface, which
maximises surface area while maintaining a high useable volume of
water.
As different on the outside as they are on the inside, the EC-Eau
range has a hardwearing black outer shell consisting of 100 percent
recycled materials to minimise environmental impact. 60mm of
CFC-free foam injected insulation gives excellent heat retention for
reduced heat loss and energy consumption, while clever touches like
recessed immersion heater and thermostat housings also help to
minimise heat loss and boost energy efficiency.
The heat pump cylinder range features large surface area coils
specifically sized to match the requirements of Dimplex heat pumps
and includes models from 125 to 300 litres. The solar thermal range
features sizes from 175 to 300 litres with all capacities available
in a choice of single or dual coil options. All cylinders provide
mains pressure hot water for fast filling baths and powerful showers
and feature an immersion for sterilisation and back-up heating.
The EC-Eau range also features direct and indirect unvented
cylinders offering the same excellent performance levels as the
existing Dimplex SCxn range. Incorporating many of the design
features of the heat pump and solar thermal cylinders, the direct
and indirect cylinders provide highly efficient mains pressure hot
water for simultaneous supply of water to all bathrooms – without
the need for a cold water storage tank.
With 60mm of low GWP foam insulation to minimise heat loss and
innovative features such as recessed immersion thermostats to
further reduce energy wastage, the cylinders are supplied with
expansion vessel and all necessary safety equipment required by
governing legislation. Finished in a tough dove grey textured
plastic coating, sizes range from 100 to 300 litres and all models
have an external diameter of 580mm.
Both the renewable and conventional EC-Eau cylinders feature a 100
percent recyclable inner vessel with a 25 year guarantee,
manufactured from premium grade duplex stainless steel for a
cylinder with low maintenance and long life.
