In November 2010, careyjones Architects was officially renamed careyjones chapmantolcher - a change which marked an exciting new era for a practice which has been at the cutting edge of urban design and regeneration for over 20 years.

On 18th February 2011, Schueco UK paid its own tribute to the practice when Architectural Team Leader, Ian Duffy, presented careyjones chapmantolcher Director, Rob Cunniff, with a copy of Schueco’s impressive book ‘Façades – Building Envelopes for the 21st Century’ as a thank-you for the practice’s longstanding support for Schueco’s systems.

‘Façades’ depicts selected products that showcase solutions and designs from Schueco incorporating unusual urban, architectural, technical, structural or functional features. The book reflects Schueco’s high regard for architecture and demonstrates its systems’ ability to combine design excellence with energy conservation, so fulfilling the company’s concept of Energy2 – Systems for Saving and Generating Energy.

The presentation took place in front of a gathering of staff at the Leeds Studio of careyjones chapmantolcher, which also has well-established studios in London and Manchester.
