In contrast to conventional forms of lighting, which can emit ultra-violet (UV) and infrared (IR) light, Lumenal’s LED lighting only emits visible light. The discreteness of the strip lights allows them to be mounted to the front of shelves so that the fronts as well as the tops of display items are illuminated.
