Viessmann, one of Europe's leading brands in heating technology, is to offer its entire range of Vitodens 100-W gas-fired condensing boilers with a standard, comprehensive five year warranty. The new policy takes effect from February 1st and covers a rapidly growing proportion of Viessmann products sold in the UK. As such, the bold “V5” warranty campaign is an exceptional offering to domestic building specifiers, heating systems installers and end-users, reflecting Viessmann’s confidence in the superior quality of its German-engineered and manufactured products.

“In announcing the 5 year warranty, we are demonstrating to the market that it can have the same level of assurance in Viessmann products and installations as we do,” says Peter Frost, Managing Director of Viessmann Ltd. “Last year, sales of Vitodens 100-W boilers in the UK dramatically increased and with this offer, we look forward to welcoming many more new customers to Viessmann.”

The new V5 warranty covers the Vitodens 100-W Combi and System boilers for manufacturing or material defects for both parts and labour, in line with the five year warranty already offered with the Vitodens 100-W Compact Open Vent variant. In addition, Viessmann’s unique and self fabricated Inox-Radial stainless steel heat exchanger is guaranteed against corrosion for 10 years. To comply, installers need to register the installation within 30 days of the installation date. The Vitodens wall-mounted gas-fired condensing boiler delivers rated output of between 13 kW and 35kW and feature weather-compensation controls that help users achieve additional fuel savings of up to 12 percent every year.
