New HVAC Planning Guide and planners website with up to date
information
On 15 March started a highlight for the industry: the ISH 2011, the
world's largest showcase of innovative bathroom design, comfort and
environmentally friendly building; opened its doors in Frankfurt.
Also Danfoss VLT Drives - the leading supplier of frequency
converters for building automation - presents their new stand C11 in
Hall 11, demonstrating new and proven solutions. Danfoss will also
at the fair exhibit their new HVAC Planning Guide and Cockpit,
designed to improve support for planners and project engineers in
the building industry.
Planning Guide - four steps to a safe HVAC system
Which motor cables should I get? What is my power supply? What EMC
limits are valid for the system? Answers to these questions and
further help are available in the new HVAC Planning Guide which is
available on the Danfoss website, together with the detachable
planner checklist.
The guide leads users in 4 steps through the entire planning
process. Through its structured logical design, it reduces the risk
of planning errors and accelerates the entire process, from planning
to commissioning; thereby saving costs.
The Planning Guide is aimed at planners, designers and end users of
building services. In each of the four steps in the planning process
there is a summary of the key questions that managers and planners
must answer for a safe operation in all circumstances. Necessary
background information used as a reliable basis for decision is
compact, easy and shown as both product and vendor neutral.
It thus offers the readers a neutral source of information on issues
such as environmental conditions in the building and plant area,
type of power supply or references to an EMC-compliant installation.
Similarly, helping is the 62-page booklet with facts and tips for
correct interpretation of motors, drives and cables.
The HVAC Planning Guide is available on the Danfoss website for
download or can be ordered free of charge from Danfoss staff at
their exhibition stand.
HVAC Planner Cockpit - New website offers the latest information
Also new is the HVAC Planner Cockpit. Behind this name lies a
website that in one place provides planners and project engineers
with all relevant information for a safe investment planning -
always in the latest version. In addition to the two proposed
documents, the Planner Checklist and the Planning Guide, visitors
will also find all the technical data for the Danfoss building
automation products, wiring diagrams, application notes and
application reports on various solutions. Tender documents,
technical brochures and technical documentation are also available.
Access to and retrieval of all this information is quick and easy.
