Viessmann has handed over a Vitodens 200-W boiler to
Cheltenham-based plumbing and heating engineer, Rupert Burnett.
Burnett entered a prize draw on the Viessmann stand at Installer
Live last year and was presented the 35kW, gas-fired condensing
domestic boiler with weather compensation controls by Jason Lewis at
Plumbase in Cheltenham.
“I never win competitions like this so am over the moon,” says
Burnett, a former software development engineer. “Now I’ve just got
to decide whether I install this in my own home or with a customer.
Other installers rave about Viessmann boilers and are really into
them.”
Burnett now plans to attend a Viessmann fault-finding and service
training course which entitles him to offer a five year warranty on
the Vitodens 200-W range of boilers. Viessmann recently announced
that its entry-level Vitodens 100-W boiler range come with a five
year warranty as standard, covering a rapidly growing proportion of
Viessmann products sold in the UK.
