A state-of-the-art heat pump system is now available from Daikin UK,
offering radiant heating, together with highly efficient cooling and
air purification. Nexura is the latest innovation in a new range of
hybrid comfort solutions from Daikin, which is now the world’s
leading manufacturer of heating, cooling and ventilation
technologies.
Ideal for stylish living, boutique stores and small hotels, the
floor mounted Nexura units are available either as a single unit, in
pairs or as multiple unit applications, so they are
equally suitable for a small scale extension, conservatory or home
office, or for a more extensive heating and cooling system.
This new generation of elegantly designed, energy efficient and
convenient heating and
cooling units brings enhanced comfort to an interior, with whisper
quiet operation and a
reduced air flow rate. What’s more Nexura’s unique radiating front
panel assures instant warmth, giving the ultimate balance between
elegance, intelligent engineering and efficiency.
Nexura will be launched in April 2011 offering a range of 2.5kW,
3.5kW and 5kW capacities. The new user-friendly and stylish infrared
remote controller with a 24-hour and weekly schedule timer assures a
total hassle-free system control.
Nexura is powered by Daikin’s tried and tested heat pump technology.
This means that for every unit of power needed, more than four units
of heating (or cooling) are produced. Daikin’s inverter technology
increases the unit’s energy efficiency by varying the heat pump’s
compressor speed – the engine of the unit – so that only amount of
energy needed to heat or cool a room is used. Thus, unnecessary
energy-consuming starts and stops are avoided. Besides providing
more stable temperatures, this technology can save up to 30% over
traditional on-off systems, thereby considerably reducing energy
bills.
The newly launched Nexura models are the latest in a range of hybrid
solutions, which includes Daikin’s award winning Emura wall-mounted
range. Offering even air distribution throughout the room resulting
in optimum comfort all year round, Emura has an ultra-thin profile
and is available in a matt crystal white or sandblasted aluminium
finish.
