MARSHALL-TUFFLEX ENERGY MANAGEMENT - Public Sector Embraces Voltis With Contract Wins

Technologically advanced voltage optimiser Voltis is continuing to impress public sector organisations, notching-up a raft of prestigious contract wins around the country.

The logic-controlled ‘intelligent’ system has recently been specified for installation at:

Bath Spa University
East Sussex County Council
Ministry of Justice
University College London
Worthing Borough Council
Wolverhampton City Council

Voltis, which is manufactured by Marshall-Tufflex Energy Management (MTEM) in the UK, offers important advantages over basic step down transformer technology, better matching power input with power demand to deliver higher savings and safeguard the integrity of power supply through the use of a built-in bypass facility. It is these features that helped MTEM secure the tenders, as Business Manager Jeremy Dodge explained:

“Installing a voltage optimisation system that simply reduces power consumption is no longer enough for many clients,” he said. “They want a solution that offers greater power savings than achievable with older-style optimisers, that will switch to bypass if there’s a problem with mains supply and that will improve and maintain the integrity of the site supply. Voltis does all of this and more.”
