CMS ACOUSTICS Reduces Impact Sound In Four Seasons Hotel London At Park Lane With Regupol 4515 Multi

Regupol 4515 Multi, the high performance and sustainable acoustic underlay from CMS Acoustics, has been installed at the refurbished Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane to ensure its guest bathrooms’ marble tiled floors exceed Part E regulations.

Due to the prestigious nature of the hotel, superior impact sound attenuation needed to be achieved. CMS Acoustics provided the architects, ReardonSmith and main contractor, Beck Interiors with onsite added value technical support at the point of specification and recommended 4.5mm Regupol 4515 Multi to achieve Part E compliance. Manufactured from 100% recycled PUR foam and cork granules it provides an environmentally sound solution and superior impact absorption with any floor finish, including tiles.

Having undergone an extensive refurbishment programme the Four Seasons Hotel London now accommodates eight floors of guest rooms. Quick and easy to install, Beck Interiors fitted 4,910m² of Regupol 4515 Multi in all the bathroom areas to reduce impact noise such as footfall. Achieving high levels of impact sound attenuation with a tiled floor finish, Regupol 4515 Multi exceeds the minimum requirement of 62dB or less specified by Part E regulations.

Supplied in easy to handle rolls, Regupol 4515 Multi can be bonded directly to all types of subfloor. Resistant to ageing and deformation, Regupol 4515 Multi maintains its performance over a long life span.

As the main component of the only acoustic tiling system on the market, Regupol 4515 Multi has proven credentials for controlling impact sound with tiled floor finishes. Marketed as Regupol Acousti-Tile, it meets Part E standards and complies with The Tiling Association’s (TTA) Coefficient of Restitution figure (0.56).

Manufactured without blowing agents, Regupol 4515 Multi has zero Global Warming Potential (GWP) and zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP).
