DULUX TRADE Launches New Brochure For The Hospitality Industry

When it comes to the hospitality industry, first impressions count and a well-chosen colour scheme can be crucial in winning over guests. With this in mind, the experts at Dulux Trade have created Inspire – a new guide designed to help hoteliers create premium and welcoming environments for guests to enjoy.

Designed to help specifiers in the hospitality industry choose colours with confidence, this inspirational booklet illustrates the ways in which the right colours and decoration can enhance the way a building looks and works, and can have a dramatic effect in changing and improving its aesthetic appeal.

Featuring five inspiring schemes put together by leading interior designers, the brochure demonstrates how easy and affordable it is for hotels to be adventurous in their design, while still complementing the look and style of the building. The Country Chic scheme shows how to bring gorgeous surroundings to a rural setting, whilst in contrast, Urban City Chic is highly creative, gaining inspiration from the space within a building rather than the building itself. Coastal demonstrates how to capture that glorious holiday feeling without becoming clichéd, whereas Traditional helps hoteliers maximise the character and class of their building. Finally, Opulence and Luxury captures a palette of rich, bold colours and luxurious fabrics that guests will be drawn to.

Throughout the guide, the colour experts at Dulux Trade demonstrate how to recreate and adopt these impressive themes by showing the palettes of colours guaranteed to work well together and enhance a certain look. What’s more, the guide highlights specific accent colours that can be used to draw attention to certain elements of a room, such as alcoves and feature walls. It also suggests how the chosen colour scheme can be promoted effectively through the use of soft furnishings and accessories.

While a well designed colour scheme is important to suit the needs of guests, the experts at Dulux Trade recognise that it is crucial for decorative coatings to withstand the test of time. Therefore, the guide also recommends a selection of durable and stain resistant paints which allow for walls to be wiped clean time and time again without losing their attractive finish.
