CROWN PAINTS & danfloor Develop Personal Approach To Get The Best From Colour

Crown Paints and danfloor Uk, manufacturers and suppliers of impervious backed carpets, have joined forces to produce an online portal – designed to assist architects and designers with inspired floor and wall finishing choices - from a single point of contact.

The new Colour Configurator, available at www.danfloor.co.uk/colour-configurator pulls together the latest online technology to bring co-ordinated colours, patterns and textures directly to users’ fingertips – enabling the selection of a carpet colour and recommended paint shade.

Targeted at the healthcare, education and commercial sectors, the Colour Configurator utilises the skills of experienced colour consultants at Crown Paints.

They have taken the latest influences and matched them with danfloor’s new range of colours from Equinox and Equinox Tones - to get the ultimate, complimentary finish.

The process is simple, with users able to log on to the facility and select their ideal floor covering. This will then automatically populate their page with a selection of contrasting paint colours.

Colour cards and specifications can be downloaded and sample material can also be requested.

Inspiration comes from the 2011 edition of the Crown Paint’s Colour Influences – which features vibrant shades, inspirational finishes and different textures to offer a personalised effect for public spaces, commercial environments and retail areas.

Produced by the Crown Paints’ Colour Panel - a team of nine creative experts from backgrounds including design and architecture – the influences were unveiled at London’s Chiltern Studio late last year and have gone on to inspire Crown Paints’ portfolio across the professional sector.

Jemma Saunders and Kathryn Lloyd, Crown Paints’ Colour Consultants, have been lead figures in developing the partnership with danfloor. Jemma said: “Crown continues to lead the way in colour forecasting and this new portal is an extension of that.
