ATLANTIC BOILERS - TECHNAFLON PVDF Rigid & Flexible Flues

The Moulton Stud, located in the famous horse racing town of Newmarket is being renovated on behalf of its owner, Sheikh Mohammed.

The works include two ground source heat pumps and an Atlantic R-Series 40kW condensing diesel oil boiler as high-efficiency back-up. The existing building has high-level architectural chimneys and the Technaflon high grade plastic condensing flues are ideal to meet the difficult route from boiler to chimney pot.

Technaflon condensing flues can be fitted to all oil, bio-diesel and gas condensing boilers. They are precision-made from polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) which is extremely corrosion-resistant, hard wearing and not affected by ultra-violet radiation. The flues are installed without insulation. Flue gases cool rapidly, releasing the heat to the building and increasing the plant efficiency.

The consulting engineers are Silcock Dawson of Bristol and the installation is being carried out by Allied Services of Newmarket.
