ADVANCED AIR - New Bespoke Design Service For Control Panel Systems From Advanced Air

Advanced Air have launched an “on site” design service for fire damper control systems which saves money, increases quality of installation and gives absolute programme certainty. This approach was developed for a specific project in London and has proved to be so successful that Advanced Air is now offering this as a standard module to their already extensive manufacturing and design service.

The fire damper system comprises of a number of products and activities which include fire smoke damper, decoder, control panel, wiring, design, installation advice and commissioning. Single point on site responsibility means that specialist advice is readily available and the manufacturer is actively involved in the design, and commissioning while giving help and advice on wiring and installation which is undertaken by the contractors site team.

With this specialist advice comes the attention to detail essential when very often there are thousands of individual units to be considered. Design changes to the decoders can include pre-wired plug and socket assemblies which are capable of serving 4 dampers. Their location will also have cost implications on installation and wiring, as will the design and location of the main control panels. Advanced Air design team, site based, can overtake these responsibilities which include not only design and manufacture but commissioning, installation advice and full participation with other team members to deliver a quality system.
