AQUAMAT - Expansion At Pool Cover & Liner Group

The Aquamat group of companies, has just acquired the pool cover and pool liner making business of Invarmex (UK) Limited which will now trade under the new name of Invarmat Limited.

This is a move that marks a considerable expansion for the Aquamat group as chairman Dick Goodall explains, “As the longest established pool cover manufacturer in the UK, we know the business well. This acquisition brings with it more skilled production staff and more production facilities for the group and expands our commercial cover business.” He continues, “ We look forward to further developing and investing in this business.”

The new group company Invarmat Limited is based in Cotgrave, near Nottingham. This adds to existing Aquamat group production facilities at Stroud in Gloucestershire and at Elland in West Yorkshire.

Pool covers are an extremely efficient method of saving energy and the new low cost cover materials and efficient D.C. motorised rollers from the Aquamat group can considerably enhance these savings with a higher degree of safety. Savings are made not only on heat retention but also reduced evaporation and need for humidification and Aquamat group equipment has an inbuilt connection within the control panel to automatically send a signal to set-back the dehumidification system when the pool is covered. The group has become known for the bespoke nature of its work in designing and producing covers for irregular shaped pools whether inside or outdoors. It also supplies a full range of manually and electrically operated reel systems for handling the smallest to the largest of pool covers.
