LONGDEN Extends Quality & Craftsmanship Into New Window Range

The same skills, traditional craftsmanship and high quality materials used for Longden’s renowned panelled door sets are now embraced by Longden’s introduction of a superb range of bespoke timber windows. Longden windows can be manufactured from the same timber as door leaves and window boards or to any other specialist design features, making them the perfect choice for projects such as exclusive homes, luxury hotels, heritage and listed buildings and prestigious commercial offices.

The Longden range of windows include styles such as the modern Tilt & Turn, which brings elegance, contemporary character and quality to any project, the traditional casement and the classical-style vertical sliding sash, that gives a traditional look and are very aesthetically pleasing, offering the highest quality, durability and performance. To improve the performance further, certain styles of Longden windows can be specified with aluminum cladding which requires minimal maintenance - and this combination of a timber-aluminium window results in an aesthetically pleasing, energy-efficient, durable and low maintenance window solution.

As with Longden doors, Longden windows are manufactured individually to order enabling them to meet performance levels which can meet all today’s technical criteria. Windows can be chosen with single, double or triple glazing of the highest quality to achieve outstanding thermal and acoustic insulation, protecting buildings from heat loss and noise. Windows can be specified with U-values as low as 0.8W/m2K and are certified by the Passive House Institute in Darmstadt making them the perfect energy-efficient window solution for any project.

Virtually any form of finish can be applied to Longden windows, including clear varnish, stain, wax and oil finish or in full paint using a RAL reference, all of which can be factory applied. All timber and timber-based raw materials are approved by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and exclusively from well-managed and sustainable sources.
