SURESET Tree Pits A Sure Fire Success

SureSet, the UK’s leading supplier of resin-bound paving, has supplied a wide range of products for tree pit applications throughout the UK and Europe.

Providing an elegant, low maintenance and permanent solution, SureSet paving has been specified for both public and private sector tree pit projects, delivering a permeable surface that allows water to freely flow through – completely eliminating the need for a watering tube to be installed and maintained.

Available in an extensive range of colours and textures, the SureSet range gives designers great flexibility to create striking features that either sharply contrast with the adjacent paving, or which subtly blend with the surrounding landscaping.

Recently completed projects include the University of Exeter School of Business, where 10mm SureSet Sterling was specified to surface the tree pits. Featuring a striking blend of white, grey and black natural aggregates, the Sterling finish provided a perfect contrast to the surrounding honey-buff paving flags.

All SureSet resin bound paving is highly durable, UV stable, and resistant to frost, oil and stains - ensuring that its appearance won’t fade or be compromised over time. The surface also provides a smooth base for wheelchairs, children’s buggies and bicycles to roll over.

Tree pits may be installed as part of a wider SureSet paving scheme or in harmony with other products, with DIY kits available for projects requiring smaller amounts of material.
