DAIKIN’S Award-Winning Systems & Training Showcasing At Greenbuild EXPO

Daikin UK will be exhibiting the world-first Altherma Flex Type system, together with its innovative Monobloc solution, solar thermal systems and latest training opportunities at Greenbuild EXPO from 29th-30th June 2011.

Greenbuild EXPO is the UK's newest sustainable building and refurbishment exhibition and conference, hosted at Manchester Central. This essential event for the construction industry covers everything from training opportunities and renewable technologies to sustainable materials and legislation updates.

As a global leader with more than 50 years’ experience in the design and manufacture of heating and cooling technology, Daikin provides a comprehensive choice of domestic heating and renewable energy products which are ideally suited to the UK housing market.

At Greenbuild EXPO 2011, Daikin UK will be focusing on the customised product training available for installers at its training centre on stand F58. Designed to raise standards, set industry benchmarks and help develop product and service expertise, Daikin is offering an introduction to the highest quality training and hands on instruction that is offered at its industry leading technology centres in Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Woking and Glasgow.

The stand will be fully equipped with the latest range of products and highly skilled engineers will be available to provide insights to the Daikin UK range. There will also be a chance for attendees to sign up for programmes at one of Daikin’s UK’s regional training centres.

Commenting on Daikin’s new training initiatives, Andrew Crown, Commercial Manager, Heating and Renewables at Daikin UK said: “Investment in training is vital if we are to ensure the industry builds a reputation for quality installations that deliver their energy saving potential. To encourage the uptake of any new technology, the public requires reassurances about quality and standards. This is where investment in training comes in.”

“To date, Daikin UK has formed working relationships with four vocational training colleges around the country to offer comprehensive and accredited training courses, in addition to our own five already well established in-house training centres. We are looking forward to giving installers the chance to see exactly what we can offer at the Greenbuild EXPO.”

Daikin will also be exhibiting its range of renewable heat technologies, which provide a solution for every domestic heating and hot water application – from full-scale apartment buildings to individual homes and from historic, hard-to-heat period properties to state-of-the-art new build developments. Daikin continues to launch of a series of “world-first” products, such as its Daikin Altherma Flex Type heat pump, which recently won the Innovation Award for Environmental Technology in the Environment and Energy Awards 2011.

Daikin will also be showcasing its training programmes and world-first renewable heating products at the Renewables Roadshow in September 2011.
