SIEMENS Creates New Position To Build Hospitality Offering

The Siemens Building Technologies division has appointed Nigel Galling as National Account Manager Hotels – a newly created position designed to provide dedicated support and enhanced bespoke solutions for the hospitality sector.

In his new role, Nigel will concentrate on aligning the company’s environmental portfolio and sustainable offering to further meet the needs of the hotel industry. He will head up a team of representatives from across Siemens, all of whom will focus on hospitality-related products, solutions and services.

Nigel first joined Siemens seven years ago and until recently worked as business development manager for the low voltage business where he spent much of his time involved in hospitality sector projects. These included Park Plaza Westminster, Hilton Leeds and Sofitel T5. Most recently Nigel has been involved in The Grange Tower Bridge and Rydges Kensington developments. Before joining Siemens, Nigel had also worked at Williams & James Engineering, Dorman Smith and Electrium resulting in more than 28 years’ experience across the building technologies sector.

Nigel comments: “I’m looking forward to working with the team to grow Siemens’ presence in this important business area.”

Nigel has been part of the Siemens team for seven years gaining a huge amount of specific sector knowledge that will be invaluable.
