WIENERBERGER Now At The Building Centre

New London showroom for world’s biggest brick manufacturer

Architects, specifiers and contractors are being invited to explore Wienerberger’s new London showroom at The Building Centre in Store Street. Home to some of the construction industry’s biggest names, The Building Centre is a hub for innovation and sustainability and, as such is the ideal location for the world’s largest brick manufacturers to set up shop.

Visitors will be able to view samples from a selection of Wienerberger’s vast 400+ product portfolio. As the centre provides an important resource for the capital’s architects and designers, the Wienerberger showroom will focus on specialist architectural products with a range of different colours, textures and finishes - such as the stunning glazed bricks, the beautiful Hectic range and the contemporary thin format Roman products.

Demonstrating Wienerberger’s solution for the full building envelope, and its commitment to innovation and sustainability, the display will also include the thin joint Porotherm clay block walling system, the Corium brick slip cladding system and an installation of Sandtoft’s most popular roof tile products. In addition, it will showcase Wienerberger’s range of heritage-style and traditional stock bricks, alongside paver displays including the latest Slimpave clay flooring.

Keith Barker, Wienerberger’s commercial director, said: “The Building Centre is a hub for professionals across the construction sector and is well used by architects and designers as a place to meet and do business. With organisations such as the BRE and the Brick Development Association also on site, it is a focal point for the advancement and sharing of knowledge in the building materials sector and a great place for architects and specifiers to pick up information and see first hand some of the innovative new products coming onto the market. The launch of this new London showroom is the opportunity for Wienerberger to demonstrate some of our 400-plus products and we welcome the opportunity to invite visitors to come to see and feel the products for themselves and talk to our experts about how we might help them to achieve the ideal combination of performance and aesthetic in their projects.”

Wienerberger is planning a programme of events to celebrate the launch, in conjunction with The Building Centre, and will be offering a series of Continuing Professional Development seminars from the venue.
