ROYDE & TUCKER Provides A Truely Unique Brass Look

Royde & Tucker has introduced a new antique brass finish across its portfolio, offering an even wider choice of high quality ironmongery products.

For specifiers looking for a genuinely workable brass look that is both consistent and resilient, Royde & Tucker can now provide a unique finish to its stainless steel products, delivering the same high performance capabilities but with the attractive brass aesthetic.

“Increasingly, specifiers are looking for ways to differentiate their projects and we are seeing a growing number of customers seeking alternatives to the typical stainless steel look, even in the most contemporary of designs,” explains Simon Gardiner Sales and Marketing Director at Royde & Tucker.

“Brass provides a warmer aesthetic and a greater sense of depth but, as a relatively soft metal, it is not suitable for many fire rated applications. Royde & Tucker’s antique brass finish enables specifiers to achieve the desired look while still maintaining all the structural integrity and fire retardant qualities delivered by our high performance stainless steel products.”

Royde & Tucker has developed a set of processes and applications that artificially ‘ages’ the brass plate, resulting in an authentic antique finish. This can be applied to a wide range of ironmongery – allowing the specifier a consistent brass option for most applications.

“The antique brass finish has a ‘vintage’ feel that makes it suitable for both traditional and modern interiors, while the new finishing process provides a highly reliable product that delivers all of the desirable aesthetic qualities with none of the associated structural drawbacks,” Simon concludes.
