JELD-WEN - French Addition To Stunning Wellington Patio Range

JELD-WEN, one of the UK’s leading patio door manufacturers, has added an exciting new French door to its popular Wellington collection.

The attractive new Wellington French door has stunning aesthetics and builds on the trend towards timber windows and patio doors to enhance and add value to both classically styled and contemporary homes.

The new French door is part of a suite, which also includes the Wellington sliding folding door, which has proved popular for new builds and renovations. The Wellington patio door range is available in a 44mm engineered softwood design, which is supplied fully finished in white, providing a superior appearance and long lasting performance. The timber is FSC certified to ensure it originates from well managed forests with strict reforestation programmes.

“Our Wellington range is really popular in the sliding folding door option and now with the addition of the choice of a French door, it is set to enhance this even further,” said Joanne Garside, Product Manager at JELD-WEN. “The Wellington French doorset has really good sightlines, so it lets a lot of light into a property, whilst providing consistent good looks that will differentiate a property and create an attractive living space.”

The new Wellington premium French doorset is available to suit standard brickwork openings of 1200mm, 1500mm or 1800mm x 2100mm height, with sidelights available of 300mm or 450mm width options. This stunning doorset also comes with a 140mm timber sill with aluminium threshold, which offers improved sightlines.

As well as its aesthetic benefits, the Wellington range has been designed to keep the worst of the British weather at bay. The attractive door panels are supplied with 16mm Low-E argon filled insulating glass units that mean they meet with the latest Part L requirements and help to reduce energy bills.

Security is a key concern for many homeowners when choosing patio doors. The Wellington offers peace of mind as part of the package with its highly effective key lockable drop bolts and multi point locking.

Every detail has been considered in the design of the Wellington, with satin silver hinges and locks and handles as attractive finishing touches that accentuate its high quality look and feel.
