Forbo Flooring Systems is proud to unveil its newest Collection: Eternal. Designed to offer a set of inspirational and well balanced ranges that combine stylish designs with outstanding performance for every application area.

Developed by Forbo’s international design team, the Eternal Project Vinyl range has evolved into an enhanced offering which has been created to ensure the colour palette and structures flow seamlessly throughout the collection and beyond to other Forbo ranges, providing specifiers with an opportunity to mix and match according to differing colour schemes & performance requirements. From a distinctive design to a functional solution, the elements of the Eternal collection can be blended together to achieve the perfect end result.

The Eternal brand has become synonymous with assured and guaranteed quality, and the new collection does not disappoint, offering even more choice when it comes to design excellence and distinctive looks that will work in Health, Education, Retail, Leisure, Hospitality or Offices.

The collection introduces an even wider wood range with traditional timber effects in realistic colours. Authentic designs encompassing natural characteristics such as oak and beech, sit comfortably with contemporary and abstract wood types including zebrano and anthracite stripe which capture perfectly the current muted animal print and linear trends.

The Eternal Stone range has been extended, adding a multitude of different visual effects including concrete and slate to existing marble and smaragd designs which provides end users with design options only previously available in tile format.

Abstract metallic finishes add a contemporary feel to the collection and exciting ‘true to nature’ additions sand and weave, bringing tactility.

In addition, Eternal palette and contrast present ranges of unique solid graphic designs, with highly contrasting scattered sparkling effects in a spectacular array of trend shades for when colour statements need to be made.

Overall the natural look of wood and stone are genuinely replicated and realised by subtle variant elements of delicate embossing whilst metallic inks and glitter chips add depth and intrigue to the collection as a whole. Eternal’s high tech wear layer and PUR Pearl lacquer is key to the collection’s ability to appear ‘as new’, delivering long lasting looks and durability, even after years of intensive use.

Julie Dempster, Marketing Manager at Forbo Flooring Systems explains: “The new Eternal Project Vinyl Collection is far more than simply a wide choice of designs. The authentic ranges in wood and stone are a real practical sheet alternative to Luxury Vinyl Tiles feel while the ‘scattered’ look featured in Eternal palette, contrast, stone and smaragd make these designs suitable for any scale of application and can add a splash of colour.

The ability to mix and match across not just the Eternal collection but other Forbo ranges, specificially the STEP safety vinyl, Allura LVT and Flex Design Loose Lay Tiles which contain some of same designs, increases the interior scheme possibilities.

Furthermore, Forbo’s highly experienced in-house design team also offers a floor plan design service, allowing the creation of integrated design flooring features from entrances right through the building.”

The manufacture of Eternal Project Vinyl is at one of Forbo’s European production sites, meeting the highest European standards and REACH (Registration Evaluation Authority and Restriction of Chemicals) compliance. With 40% reused content in the backing, the use of water based inks and 100% green electricity used throughout manufacture, Eternal Project Vinyl boasts impressive environmental credentials.
