PLASSON - Larger Electrofusion Couplers In Stock

FOR WATER PIPE CONNECTIONS & REPAIRS

Plasson, the specialist in water mains fittings, has just added a range of large diameter couplers to its ElectroFusion (EF) range.

Available in five sizes: 450mm, 500mm, 560mm, 630mm and 710mm diameter, the new Plasson EF couplers are available from stock in both 10 Bar and 16 Bar ratings. This means that products are instantly available, with no delivery wait, for those vital large diameter PE pipe connections and repairs.

Narrow trenches and hard-to-reach locations are ideal for EF, as these locations are often inaccessible to butt fusion machines due to limited space or difficult to move pipe. Plasson’s user-friendly EF technology makes PE welding more straight forward and may be used to join pipe ends or repair damaged pipe.

Plasson’s EF fittings feature a superior design and are made to high tolerances. The high purity resistant wire with positive temperature co-efficient means a single welding time regardless of the ambient temperature. Stringent control of the inner diameter and thickness profile balances easy pipe insertion with trouble free welding., No pre-heating is required for an optimum weld in the shortest possible time. The result is high performance pipe jointing and a long system life.

Suitable for PE80, PE100 and PE-A, and with a 10 bar rated fitting for SDR17 – 33 and 16 bar for SDR7 – 17 pipe, these additions to the range reinforce Plasson’s commitment to having the most comprehensive product offering for water mains fittings in the UK.

An extensive range of Plasson EF fittings from 20mm to 710mm is available to provide proven high performance in water distribution and industrial applications.
