SLINGSBY - Take A Seat On The Green Chair

AS INCREASING numbers of businesses demand sustainable products as they strive to improve their green credentials, workplace equipment provider Slingsby is reporting record sales of its innovative outdoor furniture that is made using recycled materials.

The company supplies more than 35,000 workplace products across all industries and in recent years has significantly increased the number of products that are made from recycled materials.

Lee Wright, Marketing Director at Slingsby, says: “More organisations than ever before are specifically asking for products that are made from materials that are either recycled or come from sustainable sources. For many businesses and organisations it has become a key requirement when they are buying products and is more of a priority than the price.

“As the weather improves this is certainly the case with outdoor furniture and we're continually introducing new products to our range that are all proving to be an immediate hit with our customers.”

Lee adds: “A lot of these products are made using recycled polystyrene or plastic and these materials also have several benefits over wood or metal because they don't require any maintenance and they won't splinter, rot or corrode if they are neglected or left outside all year round.”

Standard picnic table
Made from recycled polystyrene -the environmental alternative to wood. Recycled polystyrene will not rot or corrode. Weather and chemical resistant. No paint or preservatives required. Will not splinter.

Manufactured from recycled plastic for long life, will not chip, crack or splinter. Maintenance free and vandal resistant. Will not rot and is resistant to algae and fungal growth making it ideal for wet environments. Supplied fully assembled, ready for use. Environmentally friendly -can be recycled again.

Made from recycled plastic slats and moulded recycled polyethylene stone effect ends. Maintenance free, highly durable and available in 3 stone effect attractive colours.
