PROLUDIC Goes For Gold At Saltex

Play equipment company Proludic is set to launch its Sports Legacy Zone concept at Saltex, the open space management industry’s number one trade event (6-8 September).

The new Sports Legacy Zone is a 37m x 24m concept, aimed at people aged 9 to 99 and incorporates six areas which promote individual technical sporting skills such as, teamwork, speed, power, flexibility and muscle stamina.

Demonstrating the social fitness benefits of the Sports Legacy Zone will be Olympians Roger Black and Steve Backley. They will also be holding a seminar at 10am in the main Grandstand to talk about their sporting achievements and to give their views on the role the open space management industry has to play in developing social fitness.

In addition, the two Olympians will also be announcing the details of a partnership between Proludic and their management company BackleyBlack and will be available for photo opportunities.

Michael Hoenigmann, Managing Director of Proludic, said, “The Sports Legacy Zone applies the latest thinking in social fitness and multi-use sports area design. Sports scientists have incorporated a wide repertoire of exercises and skills into the concept, ensuring that users can maximise improvements to their health and wellbeing.

“We are also going to be making a joint announcement with Steve Backley and Roger Black that we think is a very exciting move for our industry. We don’t want to say too much right now, but as the Olympics are around the corner we think that 2012 is going to be a big year for social fitness concepts like our Sports Legacy Zone, and Roger and Steve will be an integral part of our business efforts.”
