EATON-WILLIAMS Exploits Data Centre Opportunities In The Middle East

Building on its success in China and the Far East, data centre specialists, ServerCool® part of the Eaton-Williams Group www.eaton-williams.com is now expanding into the Middle East and is poised to take advantage of the demand for data centre services in the region.

ServerCool has appointed Technical Trading LLC www.ttcoman.com as its distributor in the Sultanate of Oman. Based in Muscat TTC LLC is the flagship company of the successful Al Sulaimi Group Holding Co.LLC Oman.

Signing the contract Ibrahim Said Al Sulaimi, Business Development Manager says “Technical Trading is in a strategic position to deliver innovative solutions to meet the rapidly expanding demands of high performing data centres whilst addressing requirements for lower energy consumption, reduced footprints and environmental targets.”

Already a distributor for ServerCool’s US partner, Huntair, Technical Trading LLC will be marketing the full range of ServerCool’s data centre products that includes rear door heat exchangers, CDUs, computer room floor grilles and diffusers.

“The number of data centres being built in the Middle East is growing sharply and offers many opportunities for companies able to meet the demand,” adds Rajendra Madhukar Nadkarni, Assistant General Manager.

“Oman is strategically based and offers us a foothold into the region which is rapidly becoming a global hub for IT and telecommunications,” says Dimitri Rocchiccioli, ServerCool’s Head of Datacom Sales EMEA.

“Countries like Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi see data centres as a major contributor in their ability to attract investment which ultimately helps to modernise and diversify the economies of the countries in the region.”
