GLIDDEN TRADE Launches New Website

Following the launch of its new ‘Can Do’ communications campaign, Glidden Trade has ploughed further investment in the brand by unveiling a new, improved website. Found at www.glidden.co.uk, the site is designed to support specifiers in maximising budgets in commercial painting projects.

One of the enhancements to the improved website is a dedicated specifier section where visitors will find specific tools and resources such as health and safety advice, details on current Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) legislation and Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) design guidelines.

To support specifiers in selecting the right products for the job, the new site features extensive product information, including datasheets and system guides, as well as case studies outlining the use of Glidden Trade coatings in practice.

As choosing the right colours for the job can be more of a challenge when budgets are tight, the new Glidden Trade website has a specific commercial colour scheming section which features 24 ready made colour schemes ideal for different commercial areas. Finally, specifiers can also find out about the sustainability support available from the brand’s parent company, ICI Paints AkzoNobel through the dedicated sustainability area.

“As budgets have grown tighter, the task for specifiers has become even harder,” said Nicolas Guichard, Senior Brand Manager, Glidden Trade. “With this in mind, we have developed the new Glidden Trade website to help specifiers make the most of the funds available during commercial painting projects, and ultimately, achieve a top quality finish for their investment.”
