ACTION STORAGE SYSTEMS - 25th Anniversary Party For Action Storage Systems® 18th June 2011

Even in these harsh economic times it would be churlish not to celebrate the achievement of 25 years in business, and Action Storage decided to thank its loyal and dedicated team with a day out at the races at the world famous Newmarket course.

The whole day was organised by Action Storage’s marketing manager Carmel White. Every detail was thought through to make the day incredibly fun. The team travelled by coach from our Milton Keynes facility directly to the course before making its way to the hospitality tent. There were a few rainy showers, but the Action Storage tent was located close to the finish line and conveniently near the Tote, ensuring the weather was never going to spoil the occasion.

The fun began with the arrival of Action Storage’s tipster Steve, a former jockey, who gave us all some insight into how the overnight rain, and the subsequent softening of the turf, would turn the form card upside down. This was all very useful information. The team watched six races in all and Lady Luck was on their side because one member won over £200.

The team all enjoyed a superb lunch which was followed by Stuart Wallace’s brilliant and unexpected speech. He then presented both Peter Eyles and Tom Brialey with some wonderful gifts on behalf of Action Storage Systems. In all, the day cemented the fantastic team spirit of the Action Storage team. It was also a great opportunity to thank wives, husbands and partners.

So what next? Action Storage is not going to sit on its laurels. It is now looking forward to the next 5 years and what it is going to achieve. There is so much to look forward to with the further development of its eXtreme Plastic Lockers® and Atlas Lockers® range. Let’s hope the celebrations in 2016 will be equally or more enjoyable.
