FORMICA GROUP - Modern Insurance Office Features Striking AR Plus® Finish

AR Plus® has been chosen for the interior design of Madesco Insurance offices in Roeselare, Belgium.

Belgian design company, Moon Design, was appointed to create the interior space of the building taking into consideration the core principles of the insurance company. Transparency, clarity and innovation were key themes and have been explored throughout the design of the office.

White was the main colour choice for the office interiors demonstrating purity and clarity. AR Plus® high gloss laminate in White was used for the top of a striking reception desk in the entrance of the building. Alongside this two bespoke desks were created again with white AR Plus for the surface. The RALF.M table, a key item in Moon Design’s collection, has been placed in the meeting room using white AR Plus for the tabletop. One last imprint of the architect can be found in the middle of a small lounge situated in the back corner of the office: a smaller version of The RALF.M table also topped with white AR Plus.

White AR Plus was chosen in this project because it fits perfectly with the philosophy of the office design. Its scratch resistant properties are ideal for high traffic areas. Quoting Philip Meurisse from Moon Design: “AR plus laminate was an excellent choice, as it combined perfectly both functionality and visual aspect”.

Available in a wide colour choice AR Plus is perfectly on trend with the bold colours and gloss finishes being used in today’s interiors. The unique AR Plus technology has been specially developed by Formica Group – AR meaning abrasion resistant. Offering twice the performance of traditional gloss it is highly resistant to scuffs and mar abrasions. AR Plus provides specifiers with the confidence to use a high gloss product that not only looks good, but performs well too.
