SAINT-GOBAIN PAM UK - Sky’s The Limit For Saint-Gobain PAM UK

Iron technology leader Saint-Gobain PAM UK Ltd, part of leading international materials company, Saint-Gobain, has been chosen to supply above ground drainage systems for one of London’s newest skyscrapers.

Including its mast, the Heron Tower, on Bishopsgate Street in the City of London, measures 230 metres in height. It is one of a new generation of skyscrapers which are set to radically change London’s skyline over the next decade and which will include The Shard, the tallest building in the European Union.

The Ensign above ground system was specified by building services consultancy Foreman Roberts for its inherent strength, unrivalled acoustic performance, and excellent fire resistance qualities.

The main contractor for the project is Skanska, with specialist sub-contractor J A Brooks responsible for all aspects of plumbing including the drainage stacks.

Ensign is the only cast iron drainage system kitemarked to the BS EN 877:1999 standard and also carries British Board of Agrement approval.
