ELLIOTT To Design & Build New Primary School

Elliott Off-Site Building Solutions has been commissioned by the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council for the design and construction of a new extension at Riddlesden St Mary’s Primary School in Keighley, West Yorkshire.

The school has a phased expansion plan for a range of increased accommodation requirements including classrooms, a multi-purpose hall and internal alterations to the existing buildings.

Phase 1 of the works being undertaken by the team at Elliott Off-Site comprises of the design and construction of a new single-storey classroom extension, link corridor and toilet infill.

The other elements of the project as part of the phase 1 works include additional car parking, relocation of a habitat area and the relocation of footpath, drainage, external services, along with alterations to existing buildings at the interface between the new and existing buildings.

The project will start on site in October 2011 with a 19-week programme due to finish in February 2012.
