BELIMO AUTOMATION UK - Damper Actuators IP66 & IP66/67. Endurance Test Fulfilled

Reliable even under extreme conditions.

Belimo damper and valve actuators with the IP66 or greater degree of protection resist cold, dust, moisture and aggressive gases. They are available as rotary, fast running and emergency control actuators – not only for interior applications in severely contaminated areas but also for outside weather conditions.

Enormously robust
Dampers and valves are exposed to extreme conditions in many locations. Belimo damper actuators with enhanced degrees of protection can overcome such challenges. Neither contaminated ambient air nor running water – such as when the application is being cleaned – can have any effect on the compact and exceptionally resistant CM..G actuators. In addition, the IP66 unit for rotary, fast running and emergency control actuators also provides protection against UV light, cold, dust and moisture. The Robust-Line actuators IP66/67 are suitable for particularly exposed positions with aggressive gases and high levels of contamination.

Degrees of protection
In order to ensure that the actuators meet the specifications of the degrees of protection listed, they have been tested by Belimo under the toughest conditions. The CM..G.. compact actuators are equipped with a specially sealed housing, while the rotary, fast running and emergency control actuators are surrounded by the IP66 unit which was developed for that purpose. The RobustLine actuators for air dampers, characterised control valves and butterfly valves are equipped with an especially stable, waterproof housing. If desired, a heating element with thermostat can be installed ex works. This makes it possible to use the devices even under conditions of extreme temperatures down to –40°C.
