Founded in 1997 by Mr Bernard GEIS, the CLIPSO group is composed today of 6 subsidiaries around the world (France, USA, Russia, India and United Kingdom).

CLIPSO’s headquarters and factory are in Vieux-Thann, France, where the borders of France, Germany and Switzerland meet. The factory was created after Mr Bernard Geis met Mr Serge Weibel in July 2003 and today employs over 40 people and has generated more than 8 million USD turnover in 2010 with 25% growth over the year.

CLIPSO’s unique state of the art production machine allows coverings to be produced up to 5,10m wide without seams or joins.

Foremost, CLIPSO is the inventor of the heat-shrinkable covering. Installed at an ambient temperature, and PVC free. These coverings can adapted either for domestic and commercial environments thanks to their certifications CE, IMO, SANITIZED, ISO 9001 and the eco-label OEKO-TEX.

CLIPSO coverings are free of chemical substances (CMR, Carcinogenic, Mutagenic and Reprotoxic). Thanks to the advanced copyrighted cold installation process, CLIPSO coverings do not emit any Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC). The fact that CLIPSO products are harmless means their products are certified as safe in every market worldwide.
