ELLIOTT To Switch On Christmas Lights At New MS Centre

Visitors to the nearly completed West of England MS Centre in Bradley Stoke were recently treated to an official site tour by Elliott Off-Site Building Solutions.

The off-site specialist, which is providing a complete design and build solution on the project, hosted the event to give the client and local dignitaries a chance to see for themselves the excellent progress being made.

Using its innovative off-site building system, Elliott has remained on schedule and expects to hand over the charity-funded project exactly as planned on Christmas Eve.

“We have been delighted with Elliott Off-Site’s efficiency in constructing the new West of England MS Centre on time and on budget,” said Mike Gelder, Chairman of The Moonstone Appeal, the fundraising charity behind the new facility. “It is such a refreshing change to see a construction project progressing to schedule and after visiting the site for ourselves, we are confident that Elliott will complete the project on schedule.”

He added: “The Christmas Eve handover will be a great present for people in the region with MS and credit to Elliott for its ongoing commitment to meet this demanding completion date.”

The delegation that visited the site in Bradley Stoke included Councillor Ben Walker, Mayor of Bradley Stoke, along with John Doubleday and Pat Murphy from Kendleshire Golf Club, who were major fundraisers for the Moonstone charity.

Also present was Mike Gelder, Chairman of The Moonstone Appeal, along with Peter Miller and Janet Epplestone from the West of England MS Therapy Centre.

When complete, the new single storey facility will provide care for up to 450 people with MS from across Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset and Bath & NE Somerset areas.

The facility is being constructed utilising Elliott Off-Site’s system, which is an essential part of ensuring the building meets the original 23 week build schedule.
