ABB Show Their Data Centre Offering At DCD, London

ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, will show their data centre offering at the upcoming Data Centre Dynamics conference in London, November 30th – December 1st.

Keeping with the theme of cutting edge technology ABB will use an Augmented Reality 3D i-Pad based tool to show off the extensive product and systems offering that they can provide to data centre industry. This application allows us to show the DCD audience the inner workings of a data centre via an i-pad application including the various ways we can add value and save energy. ABB will be based at stand 34 throughout the two days of the conference.

During the two days ABB will also present “Decathlon” a new DCEM system that improves reliability and efficiency in data centres. Decathlon will provide a single view of IT, facilities and energy management information for improved data access and use, while making the data centers themselves more reliable and energy efficient. On stand 34 we will have a demo file of Decathlon explaining its role in data centers.

ABB will also present at the conference on Thursday 1st of December at 12:10pm in Hall 1. The presentation is titled “ABB’s Solutions with Disruptive Technologies for the Data Centre Industry”. The presentation will be split into two parts the fist been delivered by Mr Rudy Kraus from Validus DC (an ABB company) about “Improved Data Centre Economics and Reliability with Direct Current”. The second part will be given by Mr Eric Olson of ABB on “Data Centre Enterprise Management, A Disruptive Innovative Technology”
