ROCKFON - Get On Course With The Golf Classic 2012

The Golf Classic is the UK construction industry’s most successful golfing tournament and is celebrating it’s 20th birthday in 2012. Attracting golfers of all abilities from every corner of the industry, the competition provides an excellent opportunity to make friends, network and forge new business relationships while enjoying a round of golf.

Sponsors of the 2012 event include Marley Plumbing & Drainage, Rockfon and Tarkett. We will also once again be raising funds for the Seve Ballesteros Foundation with a £1 donation from every entry fee. Working in partnership with Cancer Research UK, the Foundation helps fund vital brain cancer research.

The Golf Classic is a six round knock-out competition that offers each two-ball team the chance to secure a place at the Grand Final in October 2012, which will be held at the beautiful Marriott St Pierre Hotel and Country Club near Chepstow.

The Championship Old Course at St Pierre has previously staged fourteen European Tour events, with past winners including Seve Ballesteros, Ian Woosnam, Greg Norman and Bernhard Langer. The course was remodelled in 2008 by Ross McMurray, who also designed the 2010 Ryder Cup course, and will provide a real test of golfing skill for the Finalists.

The Golf Classic is open to all those employed full or part-time by a non-manufacturing organisation in the UK construction industry (except Northern Ireland).
