WEATHERITE Brings Breath Of Fresh Air To School Kitchen

School kitchens across North Lincolnshire are now benefiting from highly efficient kitchen ventilation systems provided by Weatherite Building Services (WBS). St Peter’s Primary, Barton upon Humber was the first school to be fitted with one of the new De Kobra systems from WBS as part of North Lincolnshire Council’s continuing school kitchen improvement programme.

Acting as main contractor, Weatherite designed, installed and commissioned an island mounted kitchen ventilation system fully complying with DW172 at the school. The installation and associated building works were carried out to a very tight schedule during the summer holidays - ensuring the kitchens were ready for action on the first day of the new term.

“We have an excellent relationship with North Lincolnshire Council and have provided kitchen extraction systems for four other local primary schools recently. The client was impressed that we offered the capability to handle the whole project from initial site survey to final commissioning and handover,” explains WBS Managing Director Mike Turton.
