LEGRAND Powers Up CPD Course Offer
Legrand’s power distribution division has been granted accreditation for two new
CPD courses focused on the busbar versus cable debate and a guide to specifying
medium voltage transformers.
The courses, which can be delivered at Legrand’s customer training centre in
Birmingham or taken directly to a client, are part of the company’s long
standing commitment to deliver added value and are aimed at fully educating the
market about two key product areas in the division’s portfolio.
The busbar versus cable course focuses on the multitude of pros busbar has over
its traditional rival, including installation speed, life-time cost, system
flexibility and future proofing. The course also addresses the benefits of
aluminium as a conductor over copper.
Meanwhile, the medium voltage transformer course is aimed at delivering a far
greater understanding of this complex product area and covers everything from
product type to design criteria and on to the rules and regulations governing
installation and use. It also highlights the advantages of using cast resin over
oil filled transformers.
Steve Marr, marketing manager for Legrand’s power distribution division, said:
“Our intention in everything we do is to pass on our expertise to the benefit of
our customers and the end-user.”
“The CPD structure enables us to do this in an educational fashion and we
strongly believe those who sign up to the courses will have a far greater
understanding of the products covered, which in turn will help them when it
comes to planning and specifying systems.”
Legrand is fully committed to delivering training and educational courses across
all three of its business divisions. National training manager, Gurninder Ghuman
oversees courses covering all key product areas, many of which are specifically
tailored to the needs of wholesalers, contractors, architects or consultants.
