Toughened Glass - Safety Glass - Architectural Glass - Laminated Glass
The NSG Group has announced that it is changing its
visual identity to support the company’s international
presence and geographical expansion as it moves into new
areas of glass technology. To reflect these changes, the
Group has been looking carefully at the way it presents
itself to the world. The objective has been to simplify the
company image, retain the valuable Pilkington brand name and
develop a new visual identity for the NSG Group.
A new image for the NSG Group is being introduced that will
help employees, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders
recognise the NSG Group as a single and distinctive company,
while at the same time retaining the valuable Pilkington
brand name.
The new NSG Group brand identity has been created to
capitalise on the Group’s position as a global leader in the
glass and glazing markets for automotive, building products
and specialty glass. The NSG Group mark, as shown above
right, is the single top level identity for the Group’s
operations.
There are no plans to change the use of ‘Pilkington’ in many
of the company names, so Pilkington United Kingdom Limited
remains the company’s legal entity in the UK, but when ‘our
Group’ or ‘our Company’ is used, it will refer to NSG. The
company will begin the transition to the new identity with
more evidence of the NSG Group logo on company premises,
marketing material, stationary and so on in due course.
At the same time, ‘Pilkington’ will be used as a ‘product
brand mark’ to market products in the range. So product
names such as Pilkington Activ™, Pilkington K Glass™,
Pilkington energiKare™ and other product brand names will
remain the same and the former Pilkington ‘horizontal’ logo
will represent the Pilkington brand and will be used in
association with the primary NSG Group mark in marketing
materials.
The existing product range, service levels and customer
commitment remain unchanged.
