Addatex Stone Carpet is a creative internal flooring
finish from Addagrip that has just been launched at
Grand Designs Live.
Property owners, architects and interior designers now
have the opportunity with this surfacing system to
create an attractive and decorative floor surface using
natural or coloured stone.
Addatex Stone Carpet from Addagrip is a new decorative
internal flooring where stones are bonded together in an
epoxy binder for a wall to wall covering. It is both
comfortable to walk over and hardwearing.
Addatex Stone Carpet is a coating system where the
stones or natural aggregate are bonded together with a
solvent-free epoxy binder for a smooth, very decorative,
and hardwearing surface.
The Addatex Stone Carpet surface offers many advantages
over traditional surfaces. The open structure of the
surface contains countless pores filled with air, this
creating the effect when walked on in bare feet of a
pleasantly warm and soft sensation similar to a carpet.
The resistance to wear however will be similar to
ceramic tiles.
The Addatex Stone Carpet can also help reduce noise from
pedestrian trafficking while the open matrix allows dust
to fall into the open pores. This provides the advantage
that dust does not fly up when trafficked yet can be
easily removed with a standard vacuum cleaner.
With a surface depth from 6mm, Addatex is a trowelled
applied surface giving wall-to-wall hard decorative
flooring for a range of applications from entrance
areas, bathrooms and living rooms to showrooms, shops,
museums, leisure complexes and offices.
The choice of natural and synthetic aggregates is vast
with more than 500 different colours available,
therefore the facility to produce colour combinations,
designs, company logo’s or pictures is unlimited.
