Helping create a climate for change
Savoy Place, June 22-23rd, 2006
With an array of major new building projects taking
place in the UK’s capital in 2012, Schneider Electric
will host a two-day conference consisting of 10 free
seminars at London’s Savoy Place - the home of the
Institution of Engineering Technology (IET) - in June
2006. The event will explore how secure power, energy
efficiency and improved power quality can be achieved in
the future built environment.
The seminars entitled ‘A Climate for Change’ will be
useful for a wide range of building professionals,
including end occupiers, mechanical and electrical
consultants, contractors, property developers, quantity
surveyors, architects, facilities managers and building
services engineers. Over the course of the two days,
attendees can take part in 5 seminar sessions each day,
in which a mixture of theoretical and practical learning
will allow them to engage, interact and share ideas on
four key themes: asset efficiency optimisation, energy
efficiency, critical power and connectivity.
Over the next six years, the face of London is set to
change dramatically, particularly in the eastern side of
the city. It is vital that new buildings incorporate the
latest technology to cope with more rigorous energy
efficiency and power quality demands in the future.
Schneider Electric is at the forefront of this
technology and intends to share its know how with
attendees at the seminar.
