Briggs & Forrester are delighted to announce three promotions

Briggs & Forrester are delighted to announce three promotions, all taking effect from 1st July 2006, within their Engineering Services division.

Mark Payne has been promoted to Operations Director. Mark is a qualified engineer who has 28 years experience within the building services industry having worked with several major companies before joining Briggs & Forrester in 1995 as a Senior Project Manager. During the past eleven years he has developed a reputation for successfully working on a variety of pre-designed and design and build projects and has been promoted to Contracts Manager, Associate Director and Director prior to taking up his new role.

Ian Lawrence is an experienced engineer and manager who began his career in building services as an apprentice in 1979 and has worked for both small and large contractors before joining Briggs & Forrester as a Project Manager when our Hitchin office was opened in 1989. He was promoted to Contracts Manager at Northampton in October 2004 and now takes up his new role as Regional Operations Manager with responsibility for our Northampton based projects.

Peter Talbot began his career in building services as an electrical apprentice in 1966. He has experience and expertise gained through working for both small and large contractors before joining Briggs & Forrester as an Electrical Contract Engineer in 2000. He was promoted to Contracts Manager at Northampton in February 2004 and now takes up his new role as Regional Operations Manager with responsibility for our projects in Eastern England.

Managing Director, Paul Burton said, “We wish Mark, Ian and Peter every success in their new roles. Their professional approach and considerable experience within the building services industry will ensure that we continue to build on our success”.
