New Sales & Marketing Director and Board Appointment

Tarkett-Marley Floors Ltd has announced the appointment of John Devine as Sales and Marketing Director for UK and Ireland. As well as being responsible for the entire sales and marketing output, John will also take up a position on the board of directors.

John Devine has been with Tarkett-Marley since 1985, when he joined as District Manager for the South East. A mix of skill, hard work and determination has enabled him to work his way through the ranks from Product Manager, Regional Sales Manager, National Sales Manager to Sales Director with Marley Floors.

Following the recent take-over by Tarkett Ltd, the combined UK companies were renamed Tarkett-Marley Floors Ltd to take advantage of the Marley brand name. John was given the position of National Sales Manager before his recent promotion.

John comments, “I have enjoyed working with Marley Floors and look forward to the new challenge of taking Tarkett-Marley Floors to the No. 1 position in the UK commercial market.”

John continues, “There are a lot of products from the Tarkett stable that will excite the UK market. I intend to draw on the technical product superiority of Tarkett and the established UK commercial customer relations and brand image of Marley Floors to provide specifiers with a better, stronger and all encompassing choice of floorcoverings.”
