Maybe you don’t know what a TMV3 is. It’s a Thermostatic mixing valve (that’s what TMV stands for) designed to keep water upstream circulating at above 60oc and to deliver water downstream from the tap or shower below scalding point. – That’s good news. – It’s also a requirement of the Hospital trusts that these devises are fitted and approved by the TMV testing scheme.

However some makes of valve just pass the test and a few exceed it by a mile.
